Henge

Photograph of the sunrise over the Humber Bridge from North Ferriby foreshore

This was photo taken almost ten years ago now. At the time I was working in Hessle and took a detour through North Ferriby one morning, hoping to catch the sun rising between the towers of the Humber Bridge. As it turned out, the angle was wrong and I was too far to the south-west.

I was pleased with the result however. The decaying timbers in the foreground are still visible today on Ferriby foreshore, jutting from the mud and shingle.

Definitely a case of being in the wrong place at the right time!
