I like my low viewpoints and this is a favourite. The shot was taken at low tide, right down by the river’s edge close to the Humber Bridge north tower. Just here the shingle and pebbles provide a fairly solid footing all the way down the water – this is from Humber Rescue launch their lifeboats.
I first posted this photo to Flickr in March 2007 almost ten years ago. This version is a reinterpretation of the original RAW file and brings out detail in the sky and underside of the Humber Bridge. I got the horizon level this time too.
