A range of finishing options are available when you buy a print from the Humberscapes Collection. Approximate print sizes are indicated at the point of ordering. If you require alternative sizes or finishes then please get in touch.
Prints
All our prints are archival quality and use light-fast pigment-based inks. We use a very stable semi-gloss paper to ensure long-lasting fade resistant prints. Prints are supplied with generous borders to facilitate mounting and framing.
Mounts
If you choose the mounting option when ordering, your print will be supplied in a conservation window mount with acid-free backboard. We use a neutral white mount board cut to a 50mm (2″) depth. The mounted print is ready to be finished with a frame of your choice. Please bear in mind the overall size of your mounted print will be approximately 100mm (4″) greater than the size of the print ordered due to the added dimensions of the mount.
Frames
If you prefer we can supply your print mounted and framed. Frames are available in a choice of finishes – black, ivory, oak or walnut. Our mouldings are approximately 30mm (1.2″) deep with the exception of the oak finish which is 35mm (1.4″). Your print will be mounted behind non-reflective styrene which is safer than glass as it won’t crack or break during transit. Please bear in mind the overall size of your framed print will be approximately 160mm (6.25″) greater than the size of the print ordered due to the added dimensions of the mount and frame.
Shipping
Prints are printed to order so please allow up to ten days for delivery. Mounts and frames are cut to order and hand finished so please allow up to 14 days for your order to arrive in the UK or 21 days for international orders.
Depending on what you order and where you are we use various methods to ensure your order arrives a quickly and safely as possible.
In the UK: Orders are sent by Royal Mail First Class and usually arrive within two days of dispatch. Domestic shipping is included in all our prices.
International: Overseas orders are sent by airmail. Please remember to select international shipping at checkout as this does incur an additional charge.
