Blue Is The Colour

Photograph of streetlights on the Humber Bridge reflected in the river below

Taken on chilly and still February evening, the dark underside of the Humber Bridge is smeared across the river’s gently undulating surface. The orange sodium streetlights cast long, shimmering reflections in the river – the converging points of emphasising the perspective and providing complementary to the dusk-blue sky.
