Enough Of The Suspense

Landscape photograph of the River Humber beneath the Humber Bridge

A dark and grainy view from underneath the Humber Bridge. The tide is close to its peak and  stiff breeze teases the surface of the river into choppy little waves. The relatively fast shutter speed has frozen the movement, capturing the dynamic quality of the water. Just out of shot  at the river’s edge the waves are being driven into the concrete defences, spitting water droplets into the frame – my favourite detail in this particular shot.
