Description
The sun is well below the horizon in the this long exposure image of the Humber Bridge. Adjusting the colour balance to compensate for the overly orange glow of the sodium lights draws rich and deep blue and purple hues out of the clear January sky. The beach is left exposed at low tide and the rocks and stones shimmer with an almost metallic appearance lending a magical appearance to the usually drab and dun foreshore.
Location: Hessle Foreshore
Exposure Data: 30 sec ƒ5.6
