Description
Once again the high tide and perfect stillness of the river make for a stunning image of the Humber Bridge. The distant lights on the south bank cast long, shimmering reflections in the shadow of the bridge. A gentle haze gives the light an almost crepuscular appearance.
This image was shortlisted for the Landscape Photographer of the Year prize, appearing in the accompanying book and exhibition at the National Theatre.
